What Dreams Are Made Of

Ben Harris It's not often you hear vocals so unvarnished in power electronics, they're usually distorted into completely inhuman (and often unintelligible) ululations of unrestrained anguish and hate. But actually getting to hear the nightmarishly surreal poetry on these four tracks is a welcome pivot from the genres norms. Fans of Brighter Death Now and Iron Sight in particular shouldn't overlook this! Favorite track: Myth Of Madness.

miredsounds Oldschool Power Electronics done right. Stripped down and straight forward. This was a great introduction to these artists.

Myth Of Madness has an oldschool Industrial plod to it. Amazing work.

Can not wait to hear more! Favorite track: Myth Of Madness.

about

OA024:
ACTIVE DENIAL:

Active Denial are a new duo based in the South of England, bringing us here vocal heavy power electronics. Very minimal synth gives the vocals room to breathe and make it reminiscent of the sound of some of the original PE acts. This is the first release since their impressive debut live shows, and is another step up from their first tape on Cheap Food Records.
